Product Control Group (PCG) has a significant presence and role within the Organization. There is a close working relationship with the trading desks and other areas focusing on control, service and reporting. Within PCG the PC Control function is responsible for oversight and governance ensuring that the product control responsibilities are being conducted within the defined core competencies and control guiding principles. The areas of focus are · Ensuring globally consistent framework of month end reporting · Assurance control monitoring of all Asset Classes and conducting deep dive analysis of identified control and/or balance sheet risks · Communication of Control issues through formal and informal forums · Drive Implementation of Control monitoring global platforms

Main Function

The main responsibilities for the role would be
· Cross Asset Class control risk monitoring of Product Control line functions · Ensure that Americas PCG areas are complying with the Global Control requirements · Conduct reviews and analysis of monthly controls packs by business lines to ensure compliance with the global policy · Perform consultative Deep dives review of Control risks identified by line functions and make recommendations of resolution plans · Participate in the IT development of the various Control related platforms helping in shaping strategic development · Write Control policy guidelines in conjunction with the global team · Engage with Internal Audit, Operational Risk Management and Balance Sheet Control on issues of mutual interest · Engage with Compliance on behalf of PCG for coordinating Regulatory investigations impacting on PCG Ad-Hoc investigations based on the Global steer

Main Duties

Basic Qualifications:CPA 3+ years exp. in Accounting or Audit 5+ years exp. in Excel Preferred Qualifications:Product Control experience at an Investment bankConducted investigations into control problems and made recommendationsExcellent verbal and written skillsPresentation experience to Senior management and external groupsStrong analytical and problem solving skills Management team organization abilities
