Based London
Develop and expand the Bank's business and customer relationship within EMEA region, mainly focus on originating new transactions and building new client relationships via Syndication deals, Deposit/Money Market transactions, etc., so as to facilitate the delivery of strategy and business objectives of London team and the Group.
Responsibilities
- Develop new client bilateral relationships and business opportunities within the EMEA region in accordance with the bank's business strategy and credit policy with the purpose to get mandates for bookrunning syndication transactions;
- Undertake market sounding and produce Syndication Opinion and Liquidity Analysis;
- Engineer financing structure for syndication transactions, and work with clients/lawyers to negotiate the termsheet and other relevant Finance Documents;
- Liaise with other Financial Institutions and seeking business opportunities (both Syndication and Bilateral) within the EMEA region;
- Work with other market players in relation to Book-running and Distribution;
- Prepare appropriate business proposals, lead and complete the internal credit processing in line with the policies and requirements of the Bank's procedure;
- Ongoing relationship management in relation to relevant clients with a view to maximise the overall return for the Bank;
- Cross sell other department products to existing and potential clients within the EMEA region, with particular focus on the development of deposit and FX businesses;
- Work with Loan Administration department to ensure efficient and professional processing and management of existing credit facilities;
Person Spec
- A proven track record of managing and developing corporate relationships
- Over 6 years experience within Financial Services industry, focusing on Client Relationship Development and Syndication Transaction Origination;
- Proven track record in similar department/business team, ideally has experience working in both Origination and Distribution;
- Proven background in credit analysis;
- Relevant professional qualification advantageous
- An ability to navigate around and understand a loan document, both bilateral and syndicated.
