AVP Project Manager-Market Risk IT
Tier 1 Investment Bank seeks mid-level Project Manager to work within the Risk and PL group for core IT business.
The project manager will have some exposure to risk teams in their current role and ideally a good understanding in market risk. You will have some project manager experience but will also be comfortable taking on some analyst responsibilities, taking user requirements and being involved in the full lifecycle; helping define and model business requirements, functional specifications, use cases and test cases.
The project manager will get involved in the coordination of system integration testing and UAT, so previous experience will be useful though not essential.
The projects that fall within your remit, fall within the business critical and protected projects for the Investment Bank-as such this is a business backed role which offers high visibility and excellent networking opportunities within the IB.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A strong delivery record in Market Risk
• Investment banking background
• Proven project management background
• Demonstrable experience of managing teams across locations and regions
• Strong stakeholder management focus and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
• Ability to work autonomously and identify areas of improvement with little or no direct management
• Ability to liaise with business teams (market risk managers, quants) and IT development teams
