The Company
Our client manages multi billion in assets for institutional and individual clients across an extensive platform of listed equity, fixed income, private equity and hedge fund capabilities. As part of their growth strategy they are seeking an AVP to join their intermediary sales team.
The Role
Reporting to the VP, your main responsibilities will be:
- Maintain good relationship and grow the AUM with our ex-affiliate companies
- Build up and maintain good relationship with business partners like retail banks, private banks, IFAs and insurance companies
- Establish marketing programs to support business development and target new business opportunities
- Formulate individual product marketing plans in conjunction with sales and investment management personnel
- Achieve sales / AUM targets assigned by management
- Participate in presenting product and market views to intermediaries and clients at seminars and workshops
- Proactively provide product and market updates to distribution channels
- Provide sales support for fund promotions and new fund launch
- Work closely with Marketing to create effective product communications programs including effective sales tools, market communications, collateral materials and web content.
- Work closely with Product Development with initiatives to determine effective product positioning through isolating competition, identifying developing channels and targeting new competitive opportunities.
Your Profile
You will have 5 years plus relevant experience within an asset management firm. You must have strong product knowledge in different investment products and solid communication skills. You will be a good team player and be self driven.
