AVP Sales
We are a global primary research firm, focused on providing our clients with the competitive edge to make smarter investment decisions. Our global client portfolio includes over 160 of the world’s leading hedge funds, private equity firms and management consultancies, and our core business is the facilitation of consultations between our clients and industry specialists; we source the best people from around the globe who can provide our clients with the most current and relevant information.
We are looking for an ambitious AVP Sales to optimise our presence in the European market by driving revenue through new sales and account upgrades; building and developing relationships with prospective and existing clients. This is great opportunity in our London office – the hub of our international organisation – for the right person to take ownership of and grow their own client base, with the potential to have material impact on the overall performance of the sales team.
Key responsibilities:
- Generate leads, prospect new clients and manage pipeline of new accounts across Europe;
- Identify key decisions makers and meet with prospective users of CognoLink to pitch our value proposition;
- Conduct consultative sales approach by identifying needs and pain points, killing weak leads in order to prioritise high probability accounts;
- Negotiate commercial terms with clients as well as prepare negotiations for client upgrades; and
- Contribute to major strategic decisions in the sales team.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to communicate effectively and build relationships with senior level individuals from various backgrounds, specifically within the finance industry.
