Our client, a major financial institution located in Toronto is looking for an AVP, Shared Services, Global Security Investigations. This institution is well respected and embraces diversity.
The AVP Shared Services, Global Security Investigations will be primarily accountable for leading a team, and investigating all aspects of financial crime perpetrated against our client in Canada and overseas. This includes (but is not limited to):
- protection of assets;
- security for major international events;
- corporate and fraud investigations;
- safety/security of staff/customers;
- emergencies/on line breaches;
- criminal activity on property Assets;
- forensic investigation.
Ideally, the AVP Shared Services, Global Security Investigations will have a background in Risk Compliance and Risk Mitigation combined with Law Enforcement.
Qualifications:
Candidates to meet consideration for the role of AVP Shared Services, Global Security Investigations will have the following skill sets and experience:
- Extensive knowledge of Physical Security, Investigations, Life Safety Legislation;
- University degree or college diploma in security management, risk management or business administration, or comparable professional education/training in a field relevant to security management;
- Background in Law Enforcement an asset;
- 10 or more years of relevant experience with a corporate or government security department within a large organization.
Specific educational requirements include:
- Professional designation in security management (e.g. ASIS Certified Protection Professional [CPP], CSIS Accredited Security Professional [ASP] or Certified Security Professional [CSP], International Institute of Security Member, Diplomat or Fellow of International Security [M.IISec, D.IISec or F.IISec], or equivalent) preferred. Professional designation in physical security (e.g. ASIS Physical Security Professional [PSP]) or investigations (e.g. ASIS Professional Certified Investigator [PCI] or ACFE Certified Fraud Examiner [CFE]) would be an asset.
