AVP Software Developer
A global banking and financial services corporation that has been listed as the third biggest company in the world is actively seeking an AVP Software Developer to join their business in London on a permanent, staff basis. This bank, founded in the early 1900’s, has a presence in 23 countries across three continents and serves the needs of individual, corporate, institutional and government clients.
Within your role as a Software Developer, you will be primarily responsible for implementing technical solutions for Complex FX Options Technology (CFXO). Other roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Gaining exposure to complex FX products through use of quantitative analytics libraries and interactions with quant/strat group
• Developing mainly in Python, with possible exposure to C++, Shell Scripting, SQL.
• Interacting with users globally across Trading, Middle Office, Quantitative Analytics
Successful candidates will ideally have experience working in the financial sector, and will be well versed in one of the main development languages such as: C#, Java, C++. Experience of developing in Python and an understanding of querying databases/SQL are both essential, while exposure to both Linux/Unix and Windows development environments would be advantageous.
