AVP, Strategic Execution recruitment

OS Strategy Governance Assistant Vice President (Infrastructure Strategy) will have an initial focus on Infrastructure activities and be responsible for managing the overall structuring, planning, scoping and leading strategic planning analysis and execution for Corporate O S. Ongoing the person will be expected to be able to provide strategy support across the OS organization. The AVP will be responsible for the overall delivery of strategic planning and strategic and change management programs of work for Corporate OS, and prepare presentations for use by OS management and executives for use within and outside of OS. The AVP should expect to continue to build expand their experience of managing larger strategic initiatives with longer term goal of moving into a larger management role within a Corporate Function or BU entity. Internal OS functional clients are located mainly in New York City, but 10-15% travel is possible.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:

* Collaborating with key stakeholders to define OS strategy and strategic priorities.
Providing decision support and industry analysis/knowledge to critical organizational opportunities
* Manage the delivery of overall OS Strategic Initiatives (Infrastructure Focus)
Structure, plan and scope large OS Strategic Initiatives
* Lead large engagements related to OS Strategic Initiatives
* Manage delivery teams - mentor junior department members
* Work with Business Units and functional experts
* Prepare presentations to be used for team and senior management meetings

An assertive and creative individual possessing the following background and skills:

Education:
* Bachelors degree in Business, Management and/or Communications or related experience in Operations, Business Strategy and/or Change Management
* Advanced degree preferred, but not required

Experience:
* A minimum of 8 years of experience in a medium to large corporate organization; financial services, insurance industry and / or management consulting experience a plus
* Background in supporting infrastructure strategy development and strategic programs* Proven experience managing large scale change management and strategic initiatives across large multinational organizations, preferably in a corporate setting and in an organization with a global workforce
* Experience in leading and developing teams of analysts and project managers in the delivery of large scale change management programs of work

* Experience in developing and delivering presentations to senior management outlining program benefits, status, issues and recommendations
