AVP – Strategy within Technology Operations, Global Remit recruitment

Our client, a top-tier Investment Bank is looking to hire a technically minded AVP to work within its Global Operations Strategy Team. Working in partnership with Operations and Technology you will develop strategic architecture for cross-Operational business areas.

As part of a global team you will work closely with Operations and Technology to develop and define strategy initiatives, right from initial concept through to tangible deliverables, producing multi-year implementation plans for key areas of Operations’ strategic architecture. The key responsibilities include:

-Defining and driving strategy to meet business goals.

-Managing relationships across a wide variety of user groups to build consensus on all high priority strategic initiatives.

-Taking responsibility for the reporting of on-going project status’ and business plans to management.

-Overseeing the development of documents and following through to translate these requirements into project deliverables.

You will work on complex, global projects with multiple stakeholders so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Previous experience in client services, business function or business process development would be beneficial. Working knowledge of the business flows within the Financial Services industry is essential.
