AVP – Subject Matter Expert (SME – Deposits), Consumer Banking Technology, Technology & Operations recruitment
Group Technology and Operations (TO) enables and empowers our Bank with an efficient, nimble, scalable standard infrastructure through a strategic focus on Productivity, Quality Control, Operating Models, Technology and People. In Group TO, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
• The new hire will support a portfolio of applications in the Deposits (S$ Fixed Deposits, Foreign Currency Current Account and Foreign Currency Fixed Deposits) areas with the following key responsibilities:
oLiaise with Business Unit on initiatives - from conceptualization to implementation
oProvide solutions, efforts sizing and functional specifications for business initiatives
oDrive vendors/service providers in the design, development, testing and implementation of initiatives
oReview and inspect work products/deliverables by vendors/service providers
oEnsure the smooth operational rollout of new Deposits services to customers
oWork with the day to day systems operations manager to provide timely resolution to daily production issues
Requirements
• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• With minimum 5 years relevant experience in IT system development/management, of which a minimum of 3 years should be in a business analyst and/or developer capacity preferably in Consumer Banking.
• Previous experience on applications analysis, design and development on mainframe applications
• Familiar with COBOL2, CICS, EasytrievePlus, JCL, DB2, VSAM
• Relevant experience handling projects in the Banking industry in the Deposits, Giro and Customer Information areas is advantageous
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
