AVP, Technical Project Lead/Senior Developer (Treasury/FX)
An established premier Bank with a strong market brand.
This is a technical project lead role within a team of technology professionals with a key mandate to deliver treasury projects on time, within budget and meet users’ expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide timely, efficient and effective maintenance and support to critical application systems.
• Participate in project resource/task planning budgeting.
• Responsible for the requirements gathering and prepare impact analysis, functional specifications and technical specifications.
• Responsible for source code review, prepare SIT test plan/scripts and perform quality testing.
• Work with user on UAT plan schedules.
• Liaise with vendor to ensure deliverables are on time and with quality.
• Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to ensure system infrastructure are properly setup.
• Prepare presentation material to
? Escalate all issues risks to Management for decision and approval.
? Update management on project status.
• Monitor and track all work/activities in the project team.
• Able to supervise, guide and train team members to achieve division/department/team objectives.
Requirements:
• Good Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Good development background in Java/J2EE preferably within a banking or financial services organisation.
• Relevant technical project management experience.
• Relevant banking exposure in Treasury systems/FX or any banking products.
• Crystal reporting skillset is required. Experience with Websphere MQ and Unix scripting abilities would be advantageous.
• Knowledge in logistic and supply management will be an added advantage.
