Experienced AVP to Vice President, Fund Services,
Client Relations Manager

Job Description:

-        Has overall responsibility for managing a team(s) of client relationship employees through multiple levels of subordinate management.

-        Responsible for profitability of assigned client group, proactive account planning ongoing contact initiatives for larger customers, product development.

-        Has superior product/process knowledge of both the assigned relationship management area as well as other products across SSC. Coordinates relationship management activities with the Sales and Client Service – Operations functions.

-        Maintains direct client contact on the most significant or sensitive client relationships for contract negotiation, problem resolution, etc.

-        Participates with senior management in setting annual business plans for the total GS business and directs staff through subordinate managers in their execution.

-        Participates with sales group in selling new products to existing clients and in marketing presentations to prospective clients for current/new products or cross-selling other SSC products to meet their needs.  Promotes sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market development, etc.

-        Responsible for overall relationship management of assigned accounts; acting as liaison with internal external groups, coordinates client support with other groups within IS or across SSC.

-        Overall responsibility for resolution of client issues with operational groups.  Acts as liaison with other company organizations in support of all products/services provided or to influence the development of products or processes to accommodate client needs.

Minimum Requirement

-    BSBA + minimum 09 - 13 yrs client relationship management experience in the financial services industry including minimum of 8 yrs management experience of relationship employees through subordinate supervisors.

-    Broad in-depth knowledge of financial service business technology required from a legal, business, and operational viewpoint.

-    Business fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory

-    Demonstrated management, verbal written communication, and interpersonal / leadership skills.

-    Demonstrated ability to manage both internal and external client relationships.
