Our client is a major Asset Management Company who is seeking a high caliber and versatile candidate who is able to work in a fast paced environment. Due to expansion, there is a newly created role to manage all operational aspect of all transition activities for regional initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
• Providing operational support for regional initiatives including new acquisitions.
• Providing thought leadership on defining and streamlining operational flows pertaining to new client account setup, new product and new markets
• Managing operational changes arising from new products and new markets.
• Liaison point for inter-office interaction.
• Management of transition activities including take on of new portfolios, delegation of portfolios from other entities, portfolio termination and revision to existing client mandates.
• Accountable for the operational efficiency and accuracy of the Operations Transitions team.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team and serve as escalation point for issues.
The ideal candidate should be degree qualified in Accounting, Business or Finance discipline with a strong analytical mind. 7 - 10 years of direct experience in Operations. Preferably with experience in fund set up
Familiar with equities, fixed income and derivative products desired. Good PC skills including MS Excel and MS Word
