AVP – Treasury Funding Desk – Leading Investment Bank recruitment
The Desk manages the investments of the liquidity pool [government bond repo investments], Estimates, manages and funds currency requirements of the business and intercompany through FX swaps and manages interest rate and FX risks of the corporate division.
- Liquidity Pool investments subject to regulatory and internal investment guidelines as well as stress models through government repo
- FX swaps funding and execution
- Communication of issuance, investment and hedging policies to the business lines
- Maintenance and oversight of management information systems around investments, FX and debt raising activities in Europe.
- Working in close co-operation with global Funding Desks
- Identification and realization of funding efficiencies, execution optimisation and risk mitigating opportunities
- Enhancement of risk management polices
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, credit and management imposed liquidity and risk management requirements
Should possess outstanding academics, numeracy, IT literacy and communication skills. Most importantly the potential to rapidly add value in this extremely switched on environment. It is envisaged this person will have 2-4 years in Treasury area after achieving top quartile academics 1st Class Degree and A/B’s at A level along with strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
