AVP / VP – Group Financial Reporting recruitment

Our client is one of the leading and most reputable Banking Financial Institutions in the world. With their continual growth and development into the Asian markets, we currently have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Regional Group Finance specialist to join their team.
As an AVP / VP Regional Financial Control, you will be responsible in supporting and driving the accounting framework, policy and finance initiatives within the Asia Pacific region in accordance to the Group framework. This role will be suitable for someone that enjoys the consultative approach whilst utilizing their technical accounting capabilities and knowledge of governance and controls.
Your responsibilities will include managing and executing the accounting controls for the various entities within Asia Pacific; managing the month end and quarter end close; liaising with Head Office Finance; ensuring finance and governance control measures are in place, steer the operational risk governance frameworks within the Finance teams in the region; provide expertise on accounting policies and standards.
To assume this position you will possesses a minimum 7+ years accounting experience, exposure to regional group reporting is essential and experience in working within the Banking sector is essential. Strong communication skills across all levels of the business are essential for this position, together with the ability to possess strong time management skills and ability to delegate and work within a team environment.
