AVP / VP, Credit Analysis – Financial Institutions recruitment
This newly created position, (brand new to Asia for this institution) will work as part of a small Global team with key individuals in North America, Europe and Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting credit applications to the Credit Committee for Banks and NBFIs. This work will involve risk analysis, rating proposals, and writing credit applications recommendations for the Credit Committee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in Due Diligence meetings for NBFI’s
- Propose rating
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the front office and anticipate requests
- Help guide risk-taking yet demonstrate a commercial awareness
- Regular updating of files and active monitoring on the evolution of risk research to anticipate the evolution of risks
Key Requirements:
- Good knowledge of technical financial and regulatory accounting and risk management
- Good general knowledge on economic and financial data
- Good knowledge of complex market transactions, scenario and risk assessment models
- Knowledge of counterparty, market, reputational, legal and operational risks
- Basic legal knowledge, in particular contracts of market transactions
- Rigorous, methodical, analytical
- Knowledge of NBFI industry
- 5 - 10 years Credit analysis experience dealing with FI’s and NBFI’s
