AVP / VP – EQUITY RESEARCH ANALYST (PROPERTY/ REAL ESTATE) recruitment
Our client is a leading fund management company and offers a broad range of investment management products across the risk/return spectrum. To continue the significant success in the region, they are now inviting an investment analyst to join their expanding their operations in Hong Kong.
Based in Beijing, you will be supporting the firm’s investment in REIT and property securities globally. You will be responsible for analyzing REIT and property securities and making investment recommendations based on regional macro economic and currency research and analysis. You are required to perform stock research incorporating fundamental analysis, financial modelling, macro consideration and company visits. Presentation of asset allocations and stock recommendations. You will also review fundamental real estate, regulatory and economic trends in conjunction with analyzing individual REITs and companies as well as interacting with sell-side analysts and underwriters to analyze current and new offerings
To qualify, you should be a degree holder from a top university with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience gained with investment banks or leading financial institutions or fund houses. Relevant experiences in real estate securities research or investment in foreign markets is a plus. You must also possess a sound quantitative background as well as strong numerate and analytical skills. Post graduate study such as CFA would be highly regarded. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese is a must, Mandarin is preferred.
