AVP / VP – IPV Business Analyst – Valuations Finance Change – Leading Investment Bank recruitment
Leading Investment Bank are looking to recruit IPV Business Analyst with a proven project lifecycle experience. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who has a strong background in technical line Product Control or IPV before moving into Finance Transformation / Finance Change.
The role is a pure Business Analyst will work on a number of projects within the Valuation Control workstream off the city’s leading Finance Change projects.
The Valuation Control Change workstream is to design and deliver future state architecture / price verification process. The role will involve the design and delivery of end state valuation control architecture and process framework, including reporting which consolidates balance sheet, reserving and Independent Price Verifications (IPV) from a single source of finance data, that will meets the needs of all stakeholders including the Front Office, Finance and Regulators.
Liaise with programme / project managers, clients, functional analyst leads and developer leads to ensure the Information Technology and non-IT build is in line with the business requirements.
To be able to do this you must posses a strong understanding Product Control / IPV and the products, risk positions and key trading strategies globally and leveraging this understanding to add value to project team.
Posses strong product knowledge ideally gained in IPV, Product Controller or Valuations line role from another leading Investment Bank or Consultancy. Show solid experience and show future ability to lead and coach other Business Analyst. Process mapping tools and techniques, knowledge and ability to build use cases.
Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CA)
