Our client is a leading international Bank with Global Corporate and Transaction Banking businesses currently undergoing significant growth in Asia. As part of business expansion, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Management professional to join the regional team, based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Global Head of Product Management, you will develop and execute product management strategy for Asian lending products / services with key focus on multi-currency lending products. You will serve as Subject Matter Expert providing knowledge and expertise on product capabilities and technical matters. Focusing on product development, you will document existing capabilities, define future business requirements, manage new products launches, existing products enhancement / re-packaging as well as creating market specific ideas, expanding product offerings and looking into pricing capabilities. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining product line knowledge, stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and conduct competitors analysis. You will partner closely with Sales, Relationship Managers, Support and Implementation teams on product platform management and product training.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Minimum 6 to 8 years relevant experience in Product Management or Loan Operations within Corporate Banking
- Strong lending products and systems knowledge ideally in multi-currency lending products
- Demonstrated knowledge of lending instruments, payment types, information reporting channels, international clearing systems operations, foreign exchange practices, trade settlement and liquidity management
- Experience in project management with track record in projects delivery
- Experience in working on regional scale and complex project structure
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
