AVP/VP

Our client is a highly established bank and due to increased effort for control governance in Asia Pacific, it is seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to join their Regional Investigation Unit, based in Singapore.

Reporting to the Global Head of Investigations, you lead the delivery of planning, strategy, execution, outputs and reporting of investigations, including liaison with senior Business stakeholders and Investigations Sponsors with minimal need for supervision or oversight. You develop, maintain and leverage a network of internal and external relationships. Identify and clearly articulate risks and/or control weaknesses in businesses and processes investigated so that investigations focus on the correct strategy to identify findings and provide clear constructive recommendations for related improvements. Advise and challenge at any stage of the investigation to improve quality. Relate risks identified, control weaknesses and recommendations made to other areas of business, group or operations to draw wider conclusions of more relevance to the Group. Set the tone and be a role model for the group procedures and policies. Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing challenge to internal and external stakeholders to secure the best outcome for the Group.

You will be degree qualified with 10 - 15 relevant experience gained in investigations. You should already possess or are working towards obtaining relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g. CA, CPA or CISA) and are committed to continued education. You are driven, hands on and demonstrate leadership potential.

Travel is ranging around 10-20% within the Asia region.
