The Company
Our Client is a global bank with strong Asian presence.

This department supervises non-Japanese credit only, consisting of corporate finance as well as project, aircraft, trade, real estate and LBO ones. It has multiple functions such as conducting portfolio analysis and strengthening capabilities for the better credit risk managements, in addition to individual credit approval. Portfolio has been steadily expanding and the bank recognizes the importance of continuous enhancement of credit risk managements.

The Role
Your role is to conduct credit portfolio analysis in terms of internal gradings, business units, gross net risk countries, industry segments, financial products, etc. To monitor and proactively control credit exposures under certain sectors with increased concern for concentration risk, in corporation with head offices in Tokyo. To collaborate with Tokyo to enhance internal policies and procedures as well as the IT credit monitoring system. To discuss with business units for improving credit risk management standard. To manage and maintain the accuracy of registration of credit monitoring system and client database, and to instruct lending units to modify data if necessary. To prepare reports regularly requested from the relevant departments, mainly head offices in Tokyo. To prepare presentation material for senior-level meetings which are regularly conducted. To review and assess several types of credit applications submitted from business units and make decision to seek approval of relevant authority, if deemed necessary. To make a business trip to Tokyo required to acquire further knowledge of credit risk managements, if deemed necessary.

Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you need to be a University Graduate degree in computer science or business. Excellent English speaking / writing capabilities. Excellent communication skill with business units and ACDINB internally. Excellent strategic, planning and organizing skills. Excellent PC skills on MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Experience of credit risk management and regulatory framework in financial sector are preferred. Fundamental to intermediate knowledge of corporate and project finances are preferred. Strong computer science background is preferred.
