AVP/VP, Credit Officer, Oil & Gas/Utilities recruitment
The Role:
The Corporate Credit team is responsible for effective management of credit and trading risk exposures within EMEA and provides risk assessment, transaction structuring, deal execution and risk profile monitoring for counterparties throughout EMEA. The group works closely with the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Global Markets and other product specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Supported by a pool of analysts and acting as principal credit officer for a portfolio of corporate counterparties in EMEA
- Managing all aspects of the credit relationship for a portfolio of clients, with responsibility for: client selection; underwriting; structuring; accurate and timely risk rating; documentation and the on-going monitoring of these risks.
- Establishing strong working relationships with business partners. Working pro-actively with business partners to balance risk and reward, optimising client relationship.
The Candidate:
You will have experience of analysing corporate transactions with strong credit/structuring and execution skills. Understanding of derivatives and a European language is beneficial. Sectors of particular interest are Oil Gas, Utilities, and Diversified Industries. Experience of Reserve Based Lending would be of particular interest.
