Our client is a top european bank with significant worldwide presence and is aggressively expanding in Asia Pacific. Due to continued growth, there is now an exciting new opportunity based in Singapore.
You will be involved in financial reporting and Head Office Reporting for the Singapore branches and subsidiaries. You will be responsible for Basel Reporting and derivatives reporting for regulatory purposes. You review new trades and products that are booked into these entities. You review the control process of key finance processes and review key risk areas. You also provide support in process reengineering projects, integration and other ad-hoc projects.
You will be degree qualified with minimum 7- 10 years experience within a financial institution or the Big 4. Knowledge of the investment banking industry will be desirable. Strong knowledge of IFRS is ideal, in particular on financial instruments. You have strong communication skills as the role requires working with counterparts across locations. Ability to work independently, proactive and take initiative, good time management skills.
