Therefore, it is vital that a Product Controller is hired to focus on the daily function and to oversee 2-3 individuals that are focusing on Daily PL. The candidate will be working on a book for the Govt Bond desk and derivatives trading desk and will therefore have a focus on Inflation Bonds, Cash Bonds and REPOS, meaning that it is imperative that the candidate comes from such a background. In what is the most senior role within the daily function, the candidate will be the key interface with a Desk that the team work very closely to. The candidate should also to expect to be heavily involved in Risk Migrations and Product Enhancement/New Product Approvals.
