AVP/VP – Internal Audit (Consumer Banking) recruitment
Our client is a top global bank with a strong consumer/private banking business as well. With business expansion, there is a new headcount reporting to the Head of Internal Audit supporting the Consumer Banking business.
You will perform and lead internal audit engagements of Consumer Bank - SME to provide ongoing assurance over the effectiveness of the design and implementation of controls. Deliver the audit plan established in conjunction with the Functional Audit Teams. You act as liaison with Management to ensure full understanding of business strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant Functional Team members. You perform, support or lead where directed, the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines.
Experienced internal auditor, risk professional or business practitioner who is a deep subject matter expert in consumer banking products. Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills, coupled with firm judgment, ability to think win-win and get buy-in. Excellent analytic skills to understand risk of diverse complex business issues, identify root causes and recommend practical solutions. Strong audit project organisation and management skills, and report writing skills.
