AVP/VP – INVESTMENT RISK MANAGER recruitment

The investment banking arm of one of the largest banks in the world by market capitalization is looking for an experienced Investment Risk professional in an AVP/VP level to join an expanding team and effectively enhance risk management of Private Equity funds and investment business.
Reporting directly to the Head of Credit and Risk, you will set up the risk management framework and polices for the private equity and investment business. You will review, analyse and recommend private equity and investment proposals; formulate strategies and lead negotiation of high risk projects. Additionally, you’ll follow up on key milestones and ensure appropriate risk mitigants have been applied. Complete internal/external reporting and governance requests and conduct site visits and complete site visit reports to update management on the latest developments.
To be considered, you will have 6+ years experience in distressed asset or PE fund asset management in a mid-office type capacity. Undergraduate or higher degree in business, accounting, finance or related areas. Familiar with Chinese regulations. Fluent in Mandarin and English, PRC financial analysis and risk report writing skills. In addition, you will be a natural negotiator, and able to work with different functions not limited to compliance, legal and business.
