AVP/VP Regulatory Reporting recruitment

Role profile

The role's accountabilities will include the following:-

- Ensure that future regulatory changes are understood and their impact assessed and communicated effectively to internal stakeholders including the regulatory reporting team, change analysts, Finance management, Group Treasury, Business Management

- Communicate with FSA and Bank of England where necessary to agree regulatory treatments

- Advise and sign off on regulatory treatment of transactions as part of the trade and new business approval process;

- Act within the context of regulatory change projects as a subject matter expert in support of the project analyst team. This includes identifying relevant requirements, signing off on specifications and similar.

- Ensure the appropriate level of documentation is developed and maintained to articulate the requirements that should be followed and policy determinations that have been made;
- Participate as appropriate in the relevant internal processes that are evaluating the changes in the regulatory landscape.

Requirements

You are a qualified accountant with a good academic background. You will have regulatory experience gained either within an FSA reporting, policy or advisory role with good knowledge of capital markets products. You will have good communication skills and be able to describe the complexities of regulatory policy matters effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified (or Equivalent)

Strong academics

Experience in senior stakeholder engagement

Experience in a banking environment

Good product understanding

Projects experience
