AVP/VP Technical Accountant – Structured Credit recruitment
This bank is one of the largest players in the Credit Derivatives market and new franchises and product lines are continually being developed and marketed by the front office.
Your principal focus will be on the IFRS, GAAP and Regulatory treatments of Structured Transactions across:
• Credit Solutions Group
• Debt Repackaging
• Structured Capital Markets
• Bank Sponsored ABCP Conduit Programme
• Mortgage Origination and Securitization
• Global Risk Syndicate
• Represent the team for new structured trades – responsible for end-to-end ownership of the transaction from trade capture through to its representation in the Groups Financial Statements and Regulatory Reporting
• Build up a detailed understanding of the current structured trade population and implement a framework for an ongoing post-execution review framework
• Understand how the above trade population is represented in the quarterly/annual Financial Accounts (including disclosure Notes)
• Liaison with a number of senior internal stakeholders across Product Control, Accounting Policy Group, Finance Directors, Front Office and Valuations
