BA – Credit Risk Reporting (VP level) recruitment

The role is in the Credit Risk Projects team in London, who are responsible for delivering business change to the Risk function’s infrastructure and processes. The operating model resembles that of a consulting firm with work being carried out by teams assembled according to project needs and team member expertise. The successful applicant will join the Reporting and Workflow BA team which specialise in supporting changes to the front end Credit Risk Portal System which incorporates a strong workflow element.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Investigate and analyse new Reporting and Workflow requirements from business users

• Understand, document and redefine business processes

• Understand and document the requirements, verify IT functional specifications and perform any impact analysis and assist in UAT

• Organise and lead meetings to gather requirements

• Maintain up to date knowledge on industry-wide Risk processes and procedures

• Represent the team in various working groups and communicate timelines, progress and dependencies to other parties in the Bank

• Work as a member of an effective team, contributing to ad hoc requests without losing focus on primary objectives

Essential Experience

• Business analysis for risk management systems

• Business analysis experience with an investment bank, consultancy or trading operation (e.g. trading arm of corporate, asset manager, hedge fund, etc)

• Understanding and experience in project lifecycle techniques

• Exposure to business process/operating model design and implementation

• Experience in Reporting and/or workflow based applications

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Basel III regulations

• Experience of working in credit or market risk control environments
