BA – Fixed Income – Asset Management recruitment

Role / Principal Accountabilities:

Working across all Business Areas, and with Project Managers, to identify and document key business requirements for current and new business initiatives across all of NAMUK.

The role will consist of gathering detailed functional and stakeholder requirements,where appropriate offering guidance to the business areas, to subsequently document the requirements captured.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, working within a structured process to ensure that best practices are followed in order to deliver the ongoing programme of work within the IT department.

Key accountabilities and deliveries of the role will be captured via High level and Detailed Business Requirement documents and system diagrams.

The role provides business analysis services for Portfolio Administration, Performance, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Client Services teams within the organisation. Projects in the 2011-12 programme include a performance attribution implementation, CRM implementation and a significant number of smaller development projects.

Candidates will have worked in an Asset Management environment and have a good understanding of a range of different financial Instruments. System analysis, design, an understanding of development requirements and ability to assist in technical and lead / assist with user testing are essential. A requirement to assist in the preperation of implementation notes, user guides and support documents will also be key.

Essential Skills Experience Required:

A experience within a financial services environment with proven skills and track record of:

Significant Asset Management operations experience covering equities and fixed income. Knowledge of money market, futures derivative instruments is desirable but not essential.

Experience within a business systems team, awareness of full project lifecycle

Proven understanding of asset management operational processes, systems and data flows

Skills to Include:

Ø Analysis and Definition of High Level and Detailed Business Requirements

Ø Liason with Development staff including QA of design definitions and specifications

Ø Supporting business personnel with definition and execution of test plans and scripts

Ø Supporting business personnel with their use of systems and preparation of processes procedures

Ø Defining integration requirements for 3rd party package implementations

Ø Analysis of business benefits and preparation of ROI

Preferred Skills Experience Required:

CFA certification desirable

Formal Business Analysis qualifications e.g CBAP, ISEB  preferred

Knowledge of Linedata ICON advantageous
