An opportunity has become available within a top tier investment bank to join their Project Management team. The role will focus on providing business analysis to the banks front office, with respect to ensuring that sufficient controls are in place to meet and exceed global regulatory requirements. The role will involve liaising with Front Office business managers and relevant compliance departments to understand and capture existing controls and assisting to complete a gap analysis between existing APAC controls, regulatory requirements and controls which have been rolled out in the US and EMEA to ensure an optimal, consistent control environment is implemented across the bank.

The role holder will assist in turning control requirements into written procedures (and supporting operating manuals), facilitate the review and sign off processes, assess new requirements and processes, escalate any issues to the project manager and establishing effective working relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors within each business unit and IT delivery teams. You will also identify and act on opportunities to deliver efficiencies, reduce timescales and improve flows between business areas.

You will need to have solid Business Analysis skills gained from an investment bank coupled with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and coming changes in the APAC region . Advanced procedure documentation skills and clear verbal communication is a must. Candidate who have had previous experience working as a Front Office business analyst with a solid understanding of Front Office Controls or experience working within Audit/Compliance/ Regulatory change projects will be ideal.
