The primary focus of OpenLink International’s Energy Division is to provide technical and business consulting services related to its flagship software product, Endur. Consulting services are mainly performed within a project team consisting of business analysts, software developers and project managers.
MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION:
Accounting and Back Office Solutions Consultants needed for OpenLink’s growing team in the UK. The role involves consulting on business issues associated with accounting, tax, brokerage, settlements, and custom trade valuations in the commodities/energy trading industry.
The position has two primary concentrations (jointly or independently) that focus on accounting and settlements processing for large multi-national corporations and major financial institutions. The successful candidate will be required to understand, organize, provide advice to, and structure our client’s internal trade management and processes functionality for the efficient deployment of our proprietary software (Endur Accounting Desktop, Back Office Desktop, and associated applications).

KEY BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A degree in accounting, economics, finance, business administration, or engineering with a background in business
- 3 or more years experience in back office processing
- Experience with or exposure to trading of financial or physical energy products and related controls
- ACCA, CIMA or similar and exposure to accounting standards a plus
- Previous process integration experience a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills a must
- Business Analyst experience a plus
- PC Literate: Excel, Word, Accounting Application Systems
- A willingness and ability to quickly understand unfamiliar topics related to trading, risk management and technology
- Adaptable to working with different clients and cultures in locations across the UK and Continental Europe
