Responsible for ensuring business continuity for Middle Office, Back Office applications to ensure users are able to carry out their day-to day tasks within their business function.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day operational and production support tasks for middle / back office / corporate applications (including compliance, risk management and finance) and new business requirements
• Provide subject matter expertise in cash equities middle and back office business processes
• Resolve incidents reported, on Middle / Back Office / Corporate applications, within the agreed upon Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframe
• Communicate regularly with business users on technology events and issues, and update progress on resolution
• Liaise with development teams or application vendors to resolve and remediate issues
• Coordinate user acceptance tests with the respective Vendor for third party system developments
• Provide application support for weekend releases, market rehearsals and public holidays
• Develop and document IT Policies and Procedures accurately and consistently in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Solid experience in cash equities business flow for HK, AU, TW, KR and SG markets
• Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
• Application knowledge on Gloss, Oracle Financials and Crystal Report 
• Perl / Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle, Sybase and MS SQL Server, VB
