Job Description Overview:

Calypso Technology is seeking a Product Manager with strong work experience in cash and derivatives post-trade processing to reinforce its back-office leadership and lead the effort in driving and continued development of the Calypso back-office system.

Responsibilities will include the management and enhancement of the system, interact with clients and formulate the roadmap, performing functional testing of the application and provide internal training. The ideal candidate is someone who

designed or implemented back-office systems and has experience working with a software company.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in product launches (key messaging, outbound communication, training, competitive write-up and documentation) within your product area.

• Create relevant and useful documentation (business requirements and specifications for your product.

• Understand market requirements by interacting with customers and company's customer support people.

• Work collaboratively with customers and prospects to gather feedback used to drive customer satisfaction and the product roadmap.

• Evaluate, prioritize, and approve enhancement requests submitted by customers via the Product Support Case Management System.

• Coordinate work of software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of a product.

• Design test plans and participate in the execution of regression test for new product releases.

• Provide professional expertise and content for documentation for internal groups / employees, customers and partners.

• Train sales people and sales support people on the features of the product and how best to demonstrate and sell it

• Participate in the sales process by demonstrating product features and presenting the product roadmap.

• Coaches and mentors business analysts.

Skills Requirements:

• B.S- Master in Business/Finance or Technical field.

• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional work experience within the banking/financial industry, using capital markets software, or implementing capital markets software.

• Specific expertise in post-trade processing.

• Must be able to work independently.

• Must be a fast learner, self-motivated, team player, and collaborator.

• Strong problem solving skills.

• Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
