Band 6 Oncology Nurse
Hays Healthcare are currently seeking a Band 6 oncology nurse specialising in haematology in Leeds. We require a motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated nurse who would be available to start a full time placement in September. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing work patterns, carry a professional and personable manner at all times.
As a Staff Nurse in the Oncology department, the successful candidate will be expected to provide a high level of care for patients by assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care. They are responsible and accountable for their own practice within the clinical area and for delivering a quality service at all times. Your main responsibilities in the role will include carrying out required observations, investigations and treatments. Providing patients and families with information regarding the management of their condition, maintaining accurate records as well as organising tests and appoints internally and externally.
To be successful within this role you must have a current NMC registration, experience in haematology and be a confident communicator both written and spoken,
