Bank Controller (Queens) recruitment

-      Experience as either an Assistant Controller or Controller in a Commercial Bank for at least five years

-      Experience in the preparation of both internal management reports and Regulatory (CALL) reports

-      Supervisory experience over a staff of three or more individuals

-      Experience regarding responsibility for major aspects of the General Ledger; such as Daily Proof, Accruals, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, and etc.

-      This individual will have a four year college degree; an MBA is preferred, if possible.

-      Should have a CPA

-      If possible, the individual should be familiar with tax accruals

-      Exposure to senior management via review and presentation of financial reports either monthly or quarterly

-      Finally, it would be an added benefit if the individual comes from a Jack Henry Bank. This is the vendor who is providing our data processing platform for all of the applications.

-     Most importantly, this individual should be a self starter and aggressive.
