Banking and Finance Lawyer
Our client is a leading international law firm based in Bahrain who has been consistently ranked in the top tier by all of the major legal directories. Our client has expanded at an aggressive yet sustainable pace over the last few years and they are still extremely busy, hence the need for an additional hire.
Their banking group regularly advises local and international banks and borrowers on the leading deals in the market, many of them involving highly innovative structures. The group has substantial experience in all types of international financial transactions

As part of this role, you will:
- Operate across a range of clients including the major financial institutions, investment houses, corporations, large financial advice providers as well as industry groups and regulators.
- Specialise in corporate projects and property finance as well as more generally compliance with the financial regulatory framework.
- Be responsible for varied and challenging complex legal work which often sets the pace in the market and have an enviable range of clients.
- Be responsible for drafting documents.
Our client is looking to hire an Associate with six to seven years’ PQE.
As the successful candidate you should be western educated with a banking and finance background from an international law firm.
You should have excellent analytical, communication and research skills to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice.
