Banking Associate

Full Job Description

The role of Banking Associate will include:
- providing expert advice and support to other Supervisers on technical aspects of payment processes,
- helping to identify emerging and crystallised conduct risks associated with core retail banking services,
- leading thematic work to address the highest priority risks.
- establishing and maintaining effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, including colleagues such as analysts in the banking sector team, conduct risk specialists, conduct policy, enforcement, and other supervisors within the two new departments.
- working as part of a team undertaking cross-cutting work to mitigate risks to consumers.
- providing support and expertise to more junior members of staff.
- developing in-depth knowledge and understanding of the standards applicable to deposit taking and payment services activities.
- complying with all company employee conduct principles and internal and regulatory processes including documenting and establishing audit trails as required.

You will have solid retail banking experience and a strong understanding of payment processes and systems and their operation in firms.
A working knowledge of the Payment Services Regulationsas well theability to understand how banks and other deposit taking businesses operate, including their interaction with customers and the risks to which those customers may be exposed is desirable.

£55000-£65000 plus benefits
