Banking – Lawyer / Legal Counsel – Zurich recruitment
My client one of Zurichs premier banking groups are looking to recruit a Legal Counsel for their internal team. Your tasks responsibilities : Supporting ISDA / GMSLA (including Repo) governed business, reviewing and negotiating legal terms of such agreements and acting as legal point person for any transactions conducted under such agreements. Leading all legal and regulatory aspects of European expansion, e.g. support to my clients EU headquarter and its branches, implementation of documentation framework, provision of guidance re cross border services especially based on EU- passport, definition of distribution process, review of marketing material, accompanying audits and crafting of necessary documentation plus outside counsel management. Supporting complex structured transactions our requirements. University degree in law and Swiss bar exam. Experience in a legal, ideally with a regulatory angle, function of at least 5 years in the financial industry, in particular in investment banking. Fast learner with high levels of confidence, professionalism and diplomacy. A dynamic and flexible personality and a strong team-player. Fluency in English and German, additional languages (Italian / Spanish) would be of value.
