Description This position is responsible for providing banking reconciliation management for Kaiser's self funding clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with contractual obligations, as well as alignment with HPA business strategies and goals. This includes the areas of; membership eligibility, group billing, claims adjudication, claim funding, stop-loss tracking and producer compensation. This position also supports National Accounts and Regional Marketing, Sales and Business Development (MSBD), National Case Installation and National Product Benefit Design by providing deep subject matter expertise and support on self-funding banking reconciliation on both a pre-sale and post implementation basis. Essential Functions: bull; Collaborates with or acts as Product Operations Manager to ensure a comprehensive product operations model exists for all key operational processes initiatives. bull; Reviews metrics and sees connections within the groups and other's roles; understands how action impacts relationships and the customers bull; Accountable for updating and developing procedural documents bull; Responsible for tracking and reporting on vendor relationships, including network management where applicable, may partner with vendor(s) to accomplish joint goals bull; Responsible for gathering, collating and analyzing vendor internal operational process metrics including variance analysis bull; Supports product operational leadership and regional or functional leaders for the delivery of key operational performance of a KP product, ensuring results meet or exceed those outlined in the product success measures bull; Identifies key actions necessary to remediate key problems/issues and make recommendations to management on steps necessary to improve operational processes bull; Accountable for remediation of simple to moderate issues/problems necessary to resolve operational issues. Accomplished through influence and negotiation with key cross-functional stakeholders, vendors and project/program owners bull; Supports assessment of product administrative enhancement opportunities Basic Qualifications: bull; Minimum of 2 years of related experience bull; Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in product operations bull; Minimum of 2 years of customer/vendor management bull; Minimum of 2 years of health insurance, health plan administration, health care benefit administration or benefit policy experience bull; 4 year degree in related field or equivalent work experience Primary Location: California-San Diego-California Service Center - Rio S.D. 8954 Rio San Scheduled Hours (1-40): 40 Shift: Day Working Days: M-F Working Hours Start: 8:00 AM Working Hours End: 5:00 PM Schedule: Full-time Job Type: Standard Employee Status: Regular Employee Group: Salaried Employees Job Level: Individual Contributor Job: Sales and Marketing Public Department Name: Self Funding Administrative Services Travel: Yes, 10% of the time External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
