Role Summary/Purpose
The Operations Project Manager serves as a functional expert to lead enterprise projects throughout EMEA, with the focus on retail banking operations. In this role, the Manager will be responsible for developing project plans, tracking progress and preparing regular updates to project stakeholders.


Essential Responsibilities

- Identify project objectives and develop project plans and execution strategies to achieve these objectives
- Provide leadership and accountability for Enterprise wide projects and provide forums to leverage lessons learned best practices
- Own complete project management of initiatives end-to-end, providing support and motivation to deliver to deadlines
- Work with the functions and countries to provide technical expertise on projects, ensuring timely and effective operational readiness
- Establish robust project update report out operating rhythm
- Provide expertise to continuously benchmark tools and technology to improve process performance, such as IVR, e-servicing, and call recording.
- Benchmark existing processes technology against other GE businesses and external competitors.
 

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Project management expertise strong process mindset, with track record of delivering measurable process improvement
- Broad retail banking experience (including credit cards, personal loans, and mortgages) comprehensive working knowledge of operational processes (originations, customer service, telesales, back office)
- Operations Management experience in depth understanding of both retail commercial banking products
- Strong controllership mindset with experience of developing working with operational risk process control frameworks
- Outstanding ability to manage relationships within a matrix organization, at both European and country level, across functions
- Strategic leadership skills, including ability to translate strategic concepts into tactical work plans.
- Strong communication interpersonal skills.
- Influencing skills proven ability to read stakeholders and influence across the organization at all levels.
- Outstanding organizational skills, able to prioritize plan effectively under tight deadlines
- Unrestricted authorization to work in Europe
