As a Bankruptcy Processor in our foreclosure/bankruptcy practice areas, this position will utilize administrative skills to provide support to attorneys with handling routine and contested legal bankruptcy matters.   This position is responsible for preparing and prioritizing documents and data on a daily basis supporting the processing functions of various departments within the firm.  The position requires attention to effective verbal and written communication skills, detail, above average typing speed and accuracy, and good concentration levels.  The Processor will be held accountable for meeting specific production standards as set by the firm that reflect critical quality and success factors as defined by our clients, as well as the law firm and department management.  Working with attorneys and management, the processor will ensure progress related to key metrics and report on the success of achieving specified goals.

Productivity Levels

 

Each processor is expected to adhere to production standards assessed for the assigned department and position.  As efficiency is improved and production time is reduced production standards will be modified.


 

 

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE:

•     High School Diploma required.
•     Bachelor’s Degree desirable.
•     Three to five years of work experience. 1+ years Bankrutpcy experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

•     Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

·         Attentive to detail and ability to concentrate for long periods of time.

·         Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.

·         Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

·         Overall positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change.

·         Must possess good organizational skills.

·         Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

·         Excellent customer service abilities and interpersonal skills.
