Job description
This role is responsible for successful delivery of customer segmentation, marketing mix, and next best action solutions for clients in a wide range of industries including: Retail, Telecom, Healthcare, Pharma, Insurance, and Banking.

This individual will also assist in the growth and development of the IBM Advanced Analytics group within the Business Analytics Optimization (BAO) service area, and maintain deal focused relationships with clients and partners to scope, propose, close, and deliver BAO projects. This role will participate in pre-sales activities, assessments, and the delivery of the solution.

Other responsibilities include: business case development; project and program management; business development; proposal writing and management; track record of sales within SPSS or SAS solutions and delivery focus in recent 5 years; large complex consulting client management experience at VP level; hands-on development deliverables defined by formal structured methodology.

It is also expected that newly hired resources into the Global Business Services U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC.
