BASEL II EXPERT - BANK - N-HOLLAND

Within Strategic Risk Management, Basel II Centre is responsible for Basel II Regulatory Compliance and for maintaining the permanent dialogue with DNB (and Host regulators) regarding this.

As a competence centre, Basel II Centre is responsible for:
* Consistent and risk sensitive Basel II methodology. RWA calculation is one of the attention points. The merger of FBN and the organisation requires alignment of the Basel II methodologies of the respective banks into a methodology for the bank.
* Knowledge sharing (training communication towards other parts of the bank)
* Basel II Centre represents the bank in industry consultations with regards to new Basel requirements

POSITION

Expert Basel II Requirements is responsible for a consistent and compliant Basel II methodology (translation of Basel guidelines and market best practices in concrete requirements for ABN AMRO), and a clear communication of this to other Risk departments, Business, Finance and IT.

The position includes ensuring correct implementation by Risk, Finance en IT, training knowledge sharing, and providing input to industry consultations

PROFILE

An enthusiastic, highly motivated expert in Basel II regulation and implementation. Strong knowledge of Basel II regulation (Credit Risk, Market Risk and Operational Risk) and market practices, and able to communicate these topics to non-specialist colleagues in the bank.
