Bastion Host/Jump Server Consultant Job in Chicago 60610, Illinois US
Experis is looking for a seasoned Bastion Host/Jump Server Consultant to join their client's team in downtown Chicago.
Client has created a new IT Security organization and has increased focus on data center security compliance, which has resulted in a number of different security related projects. The goal of the program that this role falls under is to align all of these efforts and provide a global and consistent direction on remediation of any security shortcomings and deployment of automation tools to increase the overall security posture of the client.
This specific role entails being the Tech Arch to support deployment additional security and control measures for all hosted servers across the client regardless of where they are located. The Tech Arch will be responsible for overall design, deployment and any operational training for each datacenter impacted by the successful delivery of common Active Directory (AD) as well as implementation of Bastian Hosts / jump servers for security access control.
This work stream seeks to achieve the following:
1. Inclusion of all local servers in AD OU group for enforced policy via GPOs. Extending capacity of solution if required to support the new demand and performing the necessary actions on each local server to activate the change.
2. Deployment of Bastion Host solution for access control. Extending the environment beyond the DCs if required and deploying across all local servers. Ensuring sufficient capacity for the additional devices.

- Windows 2008 R2, Active Directory Security Standards and Windows 2008 Security Experience with Bastion/Jump server deployments and Active Directory consolidation
