Kelly Services is seeking an Assistant Batch Operator to work in the Skillman, NJ area. Responsibilities: Handle and process batching orders that are used for Stability, Consumer and R D testing. Job Functions: Dispense raw materials, enter into CMS. Enter into CMS pack outs and waste tares. Complete batching orders; accurately enter proper information into CMS. Housekeeping Spill cleanup as needed. Daily Check of Waste Disposal Containers. No hoses remain on purified water lines. Floors kept clean at all times. Follow floor cleaning schedule. No batching/products left on floors overnight. Keeping overall work area and shelves neat and organized. Contact EHS when waste is full. Check supplies daily. Stock hairnets, beard covers, safety glasses, foil/glassware jars, gloves. Lab coat allocation and organization. Set up equipment for batching per instructions of management and/or batchers. Disassemble, clean and sanitize equipment according to SOP s; enter in CMS. After equipment cleaning; all parts assembled and stored in the right areas. Sanitize hoses drop off/pick up from Micro. Verify and keep up to date, the master equipment list. Assist batchers where needed. Attend departmental, project and other meetings as scheduled. Provide status reports. Communicate timely and effectively to team members, management and business partners on prioritization of work orders. ? Collaborate with other teams members as well as with the Pilot Plant staff, end users and management to work efficiently within the timeframe needed to complete projects. Attend mandatory SOP, cGMP, Environmental, Health and Safety EHS and other required trainings. Work with team members so that all comply with all cGMP, EHS and SOPs, requirements. Follow SOP s when cleaning work surfaces/rooms/machines in assigned areas and maintain these areas/machines in a neat and orderly fashion. Qualifications: Ability to make sound decisions on matters by following client's created SOPs and cGMPS. Good organizational, verbal and communication skills Exhibit ability to manage multiple requests and projects. Must be able to prioritize and make proper decisions. Have a self-starting personality and be customer service oriented. Able to work with minimal supervision. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in light industrial/ware work preferable. Solid Computer Skills Word, Excel, Outlook. Must be able to prioritize and make decisions. Basic arithmetic and math skills needed to do calculations. Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as be able to bend, squat push/pull when needed. Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
