BCM Lead – Group Technology Infrastructure Services recruitment
Group Technology Infrastructure Services (GTIS) has a key role to play in the strategy, definition, implementation and execution of a global business continuity capability. Our goal is to have a consistent, repeatable and sustainable capability that meets the needs of the business.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for driving forward both the strategy and execution. Given the forming part of this role, the exact accountabilities will change.
As the successful candidate you will play a major part in determining the future shape of the role, the organisational and operational model changes required in GTIS, and influence the overall model both in Group Technology and in broader BCM.
As the successful candidate your responsibilities will include:
- Leading Group Technology Infrastructure Services BCM activities globally
- Supporting Group BCM in definition and implementation of group BCM strategy and frameworks, providing a gateway to GTIS resource and expertise
- Supporting Group Technology BCM in development and implementation of a group wide IT continuity strategy
- Working with CTO to agree development patterns which align to a BCM framework
- Working with Group BCM to identify the GTIS services required to support business (office) continuity
- Working with GTIS Product Management and Engineering to ensure design of products and services which is conducive to meeting defined RTO/RPO/HA/DR/BC requirements
- Working with GTIS Infrastructure Service Delivery and Production Services Management to ensure System Recovery Plans are generated, current, relevant, tested
- Developing a central body of knowledge and expertise for developing the GTIS BCM capability
- Ensuring GTIS have business continuity plans in each functional area and geography
