BDO ACCOUNT MANAGER, INTERNATIONAL SETTLEMENTS recruitment
This will include contacting market counterparties and client custodians for matching and settlement purposes, settlement queue management, processing stock borrowing requests, and liaising with the custody network and the securities services broker dealer clients to resolve fails. A key part of the role is to identify settlement problems and deal directly with clients/market to resolve.
The broker dealer outsourcing service is an integrated solution designed to support the business models of institutional broker dealers whose underlying client base is normally market professionals. It is not a retail broker service.
The service enables broke dealers to communicate to the outsourcing system (eXylos) via electronic interface, provides general clearing services on the nine European bourses that employ a central counterparty, and supports over the counter (OTC) trading and settlement in a number locations across Europe, North America and Asia.
Equity trading activity is supported in agency; principal; and riskless principal capacities and the service will also support more complex trading profiles including agency and riskless principal crosses; primary and secondary IPO's; ADR / GDR conversions; prime broker "give up" trades; and "step out" business common in Asia markets.

Requirements:
Technical Experience
- solid background in broker industry (middle/back office)
- experience in global custody business in particular Asian Markets
- good knowledge on the Hong Kong market expected
- at least ten years' experience in the custody/brokerage activity
- good SWIFT knowledge
Desirable
- knowledge about Third Party Clearing business
- knowledge about local market systems - CCASS (C3T) / CMU (CMT)
- knowledge about UAT and Test planning
