Role Synopsis
As a member of the BEACON Global Services team you will work 24/7 12 hour shifts doing technical support for WellLink completions and production (CP) systems and services. The current BEACON supported CP portfolio includes WellLink Vision and Field Chemistry Reporting. Candidate will be responsible for real-time monitoring of electrical submersible pump wells on WellLink Vision including: initial creation of well, well entitlements, alarm creation, alarm monitoring, and technical support. Also responsible for technical support of Field Chemistry Reporting service and any upcoming BEACON supported CP services.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Responsible for creation and monitoring of real-time wells on WellLink Vision including:
- Initial creation of well
- Well entitlement security
- Alarm creation Alarm monitoring
- Technical support
- Support any upcoming BEACON supported completions and production (CP) services.
- Track all emails, phone calls and incidents concerning any CP WellLink services using the BEACON Enterprise standard tracking system.
- Provide comprehensive reports on CP WellLink systems.
- Communicate and facilitate continuous improvement for CP WellLink services.
- Contribute to the knowledge base of operational requirements that affect WellLink CP systems.
- Work with regional and global teams to ensure resilience of service and information security.
- Additional projects as assigned by BEACON Operations Manager.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum Associate Diploma/Degree in any computer or technical field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Proficient with Windows Operating systems and MS office applications
- Knowledge of incident reporting systems
- At least three years work experience in a professional information technology environment, in customer support, consulting, help desk or call centre areas.
- Service desk interactions regarding incidents or issues.
- Any experience in the oilfield industry, particularly completions and production is preferred.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Petroleum or engineering technology degree
- Demonstrated proficiency with Internet applications, including e-mail clients and web browsers
- Strong desire to develop and grow in knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of incident management systems preferred
- Knowledge of ITIL preferred

- Work 24/7 – 12 hour shifts
