Behavior Specialist Job in Hackensack 07601
Work directly with consumers and staff in residential and day programs for people with developmental disabilities. Assess and evaluate needs of consumers. Develop behavioral prevention and intervention plans. Provide crisis intervention, staff training and program monitoring. On call responsibility, some evenings, occasional weekends. BA and experience with population required. CPR and First Aid certification, as well as other pre-service trainings provided by the agency, will be required. Must meet driver eligibility and fingerprinting requirements. Must have own vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients occasionally. Monday through Friday, with some flexibility required to meet program needs. An equal opportunity employer.
